One of America's biggest and best marathons, Chicago has long been recognised as one of the fastest in the world. It's where Paula Radcliffe smashed the world record with her time of 2:17:18 in 2002.
The minimum sponsorship for this marathon is £500 and does not include flights or accommodation. This gives you the chance to grab yourself a bargain holiday or bring friends and family and spend a few days in the Windy City.
No other event attracts such a large proportion of international runners from so many countries. The original big-city marathon, New York City is a must for anyone who wants to experience all the energy and excitement a marathon can offer.

The Berlin Marathon® is one of the world's most exciting road races. In addition to pushing your running capabilities to the limit, you'll have the opportunity to experience this cosmopolitan city full of stunning landmarks.
We are expecting a big team to run for the ABF this year, so it really will be a party atmosphere!
The minimum sponsorship for this marathon is £800.00 and includes bed & breakfast accommodation for up to 3 nights from Friday 26 September to Sunday 29 September, including transfers between the accommodation and race start and finish.
Each runner is responsible for arranging their own travel to and from Berlin. If you are flying, you will need to fly to Tegel in Berlin. Flights can be booked in advance from websites such as travelsupermarket.com
However, to show you how much we appreciate your support and fundraising efforts we have an optional incentive:
To be eligible for refund, all sponsorship money must be in by 30 November 2008.
We will arrange for an ABF representative will be at the airport to meet you, so please let us know as soon as you can when your flight is scheduled to arrive.
